The Case

Functionality meets with Beauty:

Our project started with the beloved coin-edged case style, a true icon of the 1930s. We’ve reimagined it, keeping in mind that less is more and staying away from any hint of overdesign.

We changed the relationship between the lugs, creating more space in the middle. We added a sapphire crystal and a transparent case back to show off the heart of the watch and chose titanium over steel.

Why titanium? Grade 5 titanium is the perfect material for watchmaking: It is light, 45% lighter than steel. It is safe for skin. It does not contain nickel or other harmful metals that could irritate the skin. It does not react with sweat, so it does not rust, oxidize or degrade. Withstands extreme temperatures without bending or warping. It is non-magnetic and keeps the watch more accurate even in the presence of magnetic fields

As if that wasn’t enough, its warm dark gray shade is simply irresistible. It matches our dials perfectly and looks stunning when polished to a mirror shine.

The Dague is not a dive watch, but its 50-meter water resistance allows it to handle everyday use like a pro. We also kept the case diameter at 41.7mm and the thickness at 11mm.

The result? A beautifully balanced watch, slim yet robust. It’s anything but clunky, comfortable to wear, and fits different wrist sizes.

The case back is securely fastened with four screws and the front glass is a domed sapphire with anti-reflective coating on the inside.
